Giving up or Looking up

GIVING UP Or LOOKING UP ? In this life nothing is stable, but God is able. The years of plenty and the years of famine at the time of Joseph affirms the "ups and downs" in life (Gen. 41:29, 30). There will be losses and profits, laughter and tears, failure and success. Should you find yourself at the wrong side of life, always remember that God is right beside you. You may have lost your shoes but not your pace. You may have lost your light but not your eyes—vision. Keep walking, keep believing, soon you shall conquer the dark. One thing Peter never did when he caught nothing was to go home and have some good rest. He remained at the shore, that's why he got his big catch—he could have met Jesus at the temple or anywhere but not at the shore on that fruitless night (Luke 5:5). A shopkeeper who refuses to give up (close his shop) even on a bad market day may get to sell at least an item from his shop. Don't be quick to throw in the towel. Use it to wash away the tears and conquer your fears. Be like a tree, even when all its leaves are falling it still remains standing. Keep standing even when everything you've ever had are falling. When you fall don't give up, but stand up. Look up to God and He shall fill your cup (James 1:12). God loves you!
